4 mg

If you smoke your first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking up, use the 4 mg strength.

How to Use

How to Use

Once you’ve chosen a quit date, you can use Nicorette Lozenges even if you can’t immediately stop smoking. Place the lozenge in your mouth and allow the lozenge to slowly dissolve (about 20 to 30 minutes). Minimize swallowing. Do not chew or swallow the lozenge. The medicine continues to work even after the lozenge is gone.

If you occasionally slip up during your quit, you can safely continue to use Nicorette Lozenge in most cases.

Sticking with Nicorette will help your body gradually adjust to having less nicotine until you no longer need any. How long that takes can vary from person to person, so if you feel you still need to use Nicorette Lozenge to keep from smoking, you can continue to use it beyond the 12-week program. Just talk to your health care provider.

* Doubles your chances of quitting vs. placebo. Use as directed. Behavioral support program increases chances of success. Many people require several quit attempts to stop smoking. This product is part of a 12 week program.
