Twenty years ago, I started smoking again after having quit for eight years. Though I’ve found it’s harder to quit the second time, with the help of my church and Nicorette lozenges, I’ve been smoke-free for more than a week. It’s been a lot easier than trying to quit on my own.

I started smoking when I was 16 and am now 38. Today is my one-year anniversary as a nonsmoker. I used Cinnamon Nicorette gum and couldn’t have quit without it. I want people to know you can quit even if you have a spouse or partner that is not ready to quit. It’s an individual decision and I feel great!

I smoked for 28 years until one sunny morning on July 16, 2010. After years of smoking a pack a day, I woke up, smoked two cigarettes, and made a commitment to stop the revolting habit. I bought Nicorette lozenges and never looked back. It was hard, but two years later it was the smartest decision I've ever made. Thank you for making it easier.

This was my third time trying to quit. On my doctor's recommendation, I purchased Nicorette lozenges. I could not believe how much they helped me. I weaned off the lozenges and felt I didn't need them anymore.

I started smoking when I was 15 and was a heavy smoker up until 31. I was sitting in church and heard people that gave up their addictions. I thought for a moment why can't I. I was happy to have found support and Nicorette gum. I was thrilled to quit.

I have tried to quit at least 10 times in the past 25 years. This time after taking Nicorette, I am 515 days smoke-free.

I tried quitting a few times before, but I really wanted to do it this time. I did everything possible to get through the tough times without smoking and I succeeded. I was very determined to be completely done with smoking for good, so I tried the Nicorette gum combined with a behavioral support program to keep me from smoking again.

I started smoking at the age of 18 and was smoking up to two packs of cigarettes a day for almost 40 years. I tried quitting for decades, with everything from hypnosis, acupuncture and a variety of smoking cessation methods, and finally found success with the Nicorette lozenge

While a friend who had just been diagnosed with cancer was talking to me about her future I had a strong urge for a cigarette, and then it dawned on me – she would do anything NOT to have cancer while I desired something that could cause cancer. I used Nicorette gum and am now proud to say that I have been smoke-free for more than 20 years!

I tried Nicorette gum and was finally able to drop the habit. The most rewarding thing about quitting was being able to do difficult cardiovascular exercise for half an hour without feeling like I had lead in my chest; it was amazing! I’ve lost 15-20 pounds since I quit smoking!

I smoked for over 15 years. Before I quit I was up to a pack and a half a day.
I remember every winter I would get really sick. My fiancée was starting to have a huge problem with my smoking, too. She couldn't stand being around smokers any longer.
I finally decided to quit at 32 with the help of Nicorette® gum. At first, I actually counted out pieces of gum and looked forward to chewing them in place of smoking cigarettes. It was tempting to cheat sometimes, but I never slipped. My fiancée helped a lot. She would email me during the day and ask how I was doing. She was always there urging me on.
After I quit, my sense of smell increased right away. Also, my morning cough was mostly gone in a week. I knew I was in bad shape, but I had no idea how limited my lung capacity had become until I stopped smoking. That's why I decided to jog a bit. I really enjoyed it, and now I run 5K and 10K races. What a difference a few months can make. I haven't smoked since my quit date. Now I hope to run a marathon in the future. But first my fiancée and I are planning a wedding.
