Use Nicorette on a set schedule to fight cravings throughout the day. And for those tough or frequent cravings, use an extra piece within the hour. Do not take more than 24 pieces a day.
You should stop using Nicorette if you experience irregular heartbeat or palpitations. Talk to your doctor
if you are taking any other medications, especially prescription drugs for asthma or depression.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, try to stop smoking without using any nicotine replacement
medicine. This medicine is believed to be safer than smoking. However, the risks to your child from
this medicine are not fully known.
You should also stop using Nicorette if symptoms of nicotine overdose arise,
such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness and rapid heartbeat. Always review the packaging for complete
instructions and warnings.
The better way to stop smoking is to combine Nicorette with an individualized support program like Committed Quitters.
Committed Quitters
is a multiweek online plan designed to help you quit smoking for good. Enrolling is easy
and it’s free with the Personal Code from the User’s Guide (booklet) that comes with the Nicorette box.
When you enroll at www.committedquitters.com, we’ll tailor a stop-smoking plan to your specific needs.
And you’ll get lots of support and tips to help you along the way.
Original Nicorette is sweetened with sorbitol, a natural sweetener produced commercially from corn.
Nicorette Cinnamon Surge, Fruit Chill™, FreshMint™ and Mint are
sweetened with Xylitol, a natural sweetener produced commercially from plants. Nicorette Cinnamon Surge, Fruit Chill, FreshMint and Mint also contain acesulfame potassium as a sweetener.
Eating or drinking 15 minutes before using Nicorette may limit the absorption of Nicorette through the membranes in
your mouth. You may also want to avoid drinking alcohol if you associate that with smoking.
